Elevate Social Skills offers community-based educational programs and classes designed to teach kids and teens social skills, emotional intelligence, and how to build and maintain friendships.

At Elevate Social Skills, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to  play, learn, and grow. That's why we offer a variety of community-based programs and classes designed to teach kids social skills, emotional intelligence, and friendships through direct instruction and real-life practice and support.

Elevate Social Skills began as a way to fulfill a need for our child, and we quickly realized it was a need for many other families as well. With a diagnosis of ASD and ADHD, he struggled with appropriate social skills and other social emotional skills. We have been so lucky to find amazing and supportive pediatricians, special education teachers, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and mental health support, but wanted to find social skills groups and friendship opportunities to complement and practice these skills holistically.

After searching, we found very few social skills and friendship groups available, and most having waitlists. We did our best to provide opportunities to learn and practice these social skills in a safe and supportive space. We knew we could do more and wanted to fill the need that’s out there for social skills.

As a PEERS® Certified Provider, Academic and Behavioral Strategist/Special Education Teacher, and parent of children who have special needs, I know how important it is to create a fun and supportive space in the community. I focus on building social skills, friendships, and social-emotional learning through direct instruction and real-life practice and support.
